With two large living areas and six acres of private property, this spacious and charismatic vacation home is the perfect place to plan an extended vacation with the family or a group retreat with friends. Decorated to embody the “Old Pickwick” charm, Yellow Creek Lodge has knotted, exposed-grain pine walls, cathedral ceilings and floor-to-ceiling wood-burning stove hearths.
One of the lodge’s two large living areas is arranged with a comfortable lounging area, cable TV, a DVD player and a pool table. The other serves as an informal dining area, with a second TV and a table and chairs to seat up to 13 guests. The rental cabin sprawls across a single level, making it easily accessible. A large, fully-equipped kitchen is stocked with all the necessary utensils and small appliances – including a coffee maker and grinder – as well as a double oven, a built-in warming oven, a stove top and a griddle.
Sleeping Arrangements: Three of Yellow Creek Lodge’s five bedrooms are furnished with a king-sized bed each with full ensuite baths. The remaining two contain two full-sized beds each, with a shared Jack and Jill full bath.
Yellow Creek Lodge sits in a quiet, deep-water cove less than a half mile by boat from the no-wake zone at Aqua Yacht Harbor. A shallow creek on the property line leads from a wooded area to the cove. A paved walkway on the property leads to a double-wide boathouse and a small swimming platform, great for both swimming and fishing.
The driveway leading to Yellow Creek Lodge is wide enough to accommodate an RV for additional sleeping space. An expanse of groomed lawn is perfect for outdoor sports, and a detached, screened-in “grill house” features a family-sized, barrel-style charcoal grill and two smaller upright grills. Laundry facilities are kept in a basement room underneath the deck.
Visitors to Yellow Creek Lodge will love being on Pickwick Lake. This amazing body of water extends from the Pickwick Dam in Counce, TN, all the way to the Wheeler Dam in Florence, AL. Several large coves branch off from the main lake, among them the famous Yellow Creek Cove, which is home to the Grand Harbor Marina and Aqua Yacht Harbor. Visitors to the area regularly enjoy fishing, canoeing, swimming, boating, tubing and water skiing.
The Yellow Creek area also offers access to public parks, gold courses, walking trails and museums, as well as fantastic shopping and dining. Visitors can spend an afternoon at the Shiloh National Military Park – a memorial to the region’s rich civil war history – and view the battlefields, the national cemetery and the Shiloh Indian Mounds. Guests can also tour the Civil War Interpretive Center’s interactive exhibits, auditorium, research library and gift shop.

The Goddard family all got together for Shirley Jane Goddard’s 80th birthday. We loved the house and enjoyed how well it hosted the entire clan. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. JG
We are a fishing family and haven’t spent time together for nearly 10 years. We came from Chicago, Denver and Jackson, TN. Loved the kitchen - well stocked. Room for 2 or more to cook. Loved the living areas, wooden dining table, bench and chairs. Great deck, lots of parking space and boat house. Nice to be close to the Aqua Yacht Harbor. Appreciated reading the material on TN and local interests. Your photography is wonderful. Love the photo of the back yard. Thanks for a great 4 days! 11 happy vacationers.

My name is Beverly Milligan. I am from Savannah, TN. I have been in the Property Management Business in Pickwick since 1998! I love the vacation business, meeting new people and retaining relationships with my regular visitors. Two of my sisters - Sondra McKellips and Lara Milligan – are part of my cleaning crew. Along with Lisa Whittington, Katherine Hamner, Bobbi Crowe and DeeAnne Lambert, they strive to maintain clean and well stocked vacation rental homes.
Pickwick Lake Cabin Rentals is locally owned and managed. I am truly a local, born and raised on the Savannah, TN side of Pickwick Dam. The "Circle" at the lake was our summer hangout, and the lake was our playground. My younger sisters head up the cleaning crew and help out at the office. We would love to share our little place with you!
We offer a variety of vacation cabins and homes on and around Pickwick Lake. From a one-bedroom efficiency to a six-bedroom Lodge that accommodates forty-two guests, we have something for everyone! Send an inquiry, visit our website, or give us a call – we look forward to welcoming you!
