This Kentucky Lake cabin is also on ATV trails - 70 miles of ATV trails! Nothing beats a vacation adventure on the water or in the woods. The landscape of this peaceful and natural outdoor paradise is visible from the front screened in deck - a great place to start and end the day. You can either slow down and enjoy life’s simple pleasures, or rev it up on the trials. Our property is remote, private and borders the Tennessee River (Kentucky Lake). The dining room, living room and the deck offer lots of seating options. The kitchen is well-furnished: Refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, toaster and all the pots & pans you’ll need to cook a great meal. Plus, garbage disposal, microwave, coffee maker and lots of silverware. The central AC and heat will keep everyone in your group comfortable.
Sleeping arrangement: One bedroom has a king bed. The two other bedrooms have twin beds. Two full baths.
In addition to our Orchard View Cabin, we have 3 other cabins nearby. If you have a larger group, rent all 3 cabins and still vacation together! We rent ATV’s - We rent pontoon boats. Since you book directly with us (the Jeram’s), we can set you up with whatever water and woods toys you need. At Woods & Water, 500 acres is your playground for hunting, fishing, nature hikes, bird watching, 4 wheeling and more. Ask us about riding ATV’s to a nearby restaurant!
Take a car ferry across the Tennessee River (in a car or ATV). As you explore, watch for antique shops and find treasures to take home. Also watch for Amish influence in Marion KY - their baked goods are great cabin snacks.
Make Kentucky Lake fishing part of your cabin time in Tennessee. Giant bass or crappie are fun to catch and make for tasty shore-lunch treats. You’ll also find bluegill, catfish, sauger, and much more. A group ride on a pontoon boat along 2,300 miles of shoreline means there’s always something new to see. Kentucky Lake and Barkley Lake together make the largest manmade lake in the United States.
Nearby are several tourist favorites: Fort Donelson National Battlefield; Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area which is full of small lakes, wildlife, historical attractions. You can catch a show at the Planetarium, visit The Nature Station and Elk & Bison Prairie. Day trips include Nashville (1.5 hrs) to see Country Music Row, Ryman’s Theatre, Museums; Memphis is 2.5 hrs.
