You can also relish the view of the mountains and the trees from inside High Cotton. The great room features a bevy of picture windows looking out toward the Smokies. Even as you stretch out on one of the leather sofas to watch TV or gather by the fireplace to enjoy après-ski drinks, you’ll almost feel as if you’re outdoors.
The same is true as you sit down for a meal at the great room’s dining table, which easily seats six people; if you have guests, four people can belly up to the adjacent breakfast bar. The breakfast bar doubles as additional kitchen counter space, and because of the room’s open layout, you’ll have no shortage of helpers to assist with meal prep: You can even watch TV from there—if you can look away from the mountain vista, that is.
