Next 2 Heaven is a beautiful, modern ranch-style vacation home set on a wide, gently sloping lot with a side yard populated by dense trees. The house was newly furnished and redecorated in the spring of 2015, with unique, cabin-style furniture, updated TVs and amenities and modern appliances. The main floor is an open, airy space with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room. The kitchen features a wraparound counter top with a breakfast bar and stools for three, while the formal dining table is set for six. The living room is flooded with natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows on the lake-facing side, and a large, flat-screen TV is corner mounted opposite two fat leather sofas.
On the lower level, this vacation rental features a recreation room with a plush sofa, a second large, flat-screen TV, a pool table and a walk-out double glass door with access to the back porch and yard, as well as the outdoor hot tub. The lower level also provides access to a separate laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. This vacation property is endowed with plenty of parking space for multiple cars, boats or trailers. It is also located within walking distance to two more Smokey Mountain Lake Rentals, including Blue Water Cove and Next 2 Heaven’s sister site 7th Heaven. Large groups can easily reserve multiple properties and share outdoor spaces.
Sleeping arrangements: Two large bedrooms on the main floor are furnished with a queen-sized bed each and have a private view of the lake. One of these bedrooms offers access to the upper deck. On the lower level, a third bedroom is equipped with two additional queen-sized beds.
Next 2 Heaven has private access to a T-shaped double boat dock on a small, quiet cove off of Douglas Lake. This, along with the “double-decker” decks on the main house — one balcony-level sun deck that overlooks the yard, and one ground-level, covered porch — allows guests to enjoy the view and the lake breeze from any point on the property.
Next 2 Heaven is conveniently located near exciting attractions in both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. A few minutes’ car ride will find visitors at a local hub of shopping, live shows, unique dining venues and other tourist must-sees. Gatlinburg is renowned for its vast selection of family excursions and entertainments including skiing, skating, go-carts and raft rides at the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park, various arcades and wild animal habitats, specialty arts and crafts shops, the Space Needle, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies and the Guinness World of Records Museum.
In Pigeon Forge, visitors are presented with a fantastic selection of theater venues and live shows, including dinner shows. Pigeon Forge is home to the Elvis Museum, an adventure golf course, an outlet mall and a working gem mine where jewelry is cut and formed before your eyes. For those who prefer the attractions outside of town, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is not far off — take a scenic trail ride through the peaks at Bluff Mountain Adventures, or take in a free tasting and tour of Mountain Valley Vineyards!
