Townsend is known as the quiet side of the mountains. This is the charm of this cabin. Right next to the park and closest to Cades Cove. The cabin is well equipped to make for the perfect time in the Smoky Mountains.
Loved the decorations. Great location. Owners are very nice and had no trouble finding cabin with directions provided.
Absolutely love this cabin! The decor is just perfect but I'm a huge black bear fan Billie was great to talk with whenever needed. My favorite is the screened in porch has the swing those always take me back a "few" years! Just listening to the birds, crickets, stream, and other critters while relaxing was amazing! We did see a rabbit/bunny family in the little yard daily, we never did get to see the resident bear. For that we were very blessed this year to see them in Cades Cove twice and up by Chimney Tops we stopped in the road and seen a mama with her 3 cubs crossing the street. Elk are amazing and we've always been able to see them over on the Oconaluftee visitor center around 5:30. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home and make it ours we plan on being back next year!
My family and I stayed at this cabin for a short weekend visit. My husband, our 3 teenage boys, and I had a wonderful time. The cabin was the perfect size for us. Everything was clean and well kept. Billie is wonderful to work with. She even left us handwritten notes outlining places of interest for us. The only problem with our stay is that it was way too short! We can't wait for a return visit!
A couple of friends and myself stayed in this cabin in order to be close to Cades cove where we had planned some day hikes. The cabin was great! It was the perfect location for us. The cabin was well stocked for cooking after a long day of hiking! We are already talking about going back later in the year and we hope this cabin is available for us!
We enjoyed this cabin very much. Everything was perfect, and it's a very cozy cabin. And Billie was great to work with as well.
