Bring your friends and family, plus your four-legged family members to the Great Smoky Lodge. This home was recently rebuilt with high quality and amenities in mind. With over 4,500 square feet inside, there is plenty of room for up to 20 guests to spread out all under one roof. In addition to having two game rooms, there is also a home theater room with nine cinema-style seats.
Enjoy the steamy water on the deck’s hot tubs - there are two! Having a front row view of Mount LeConte from the hot tubs or the rockers and chairs is truly breath-taking - you may never want to leave! The views continue into the great room which has oversized windows and luxe leather couches. Watch TV while sitting in front of the glow of the electric fireplace. The dining tables and breakfast bar can accommodate a large crowd for a large feast. In the kitchen, there are two refrigerator/freezers, two oven/stove tops, two microwaves, and two dishwashers.
Sleeping arrangements: There are a total of seven bedrooms. Six of them have a log-frame king-size bed, while the seventh has queen-size bunk beds. The classic cabin decor and wood-planked walls add to its mountain charm. The two top floor bedrooms have doors that open up to the balcony - watching the sunrise above the mountains is the perfect way to start your day. Three of the bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom as well. At the lodge, there is a total of five full bathrooms and one ¾ bathroom. The loft room sleeps two additional guests, as does the downstairs game room (leather sofa that opens into a bed).
Finding a cabin with the view of Mount LeConte is very unique. The three rear decks overlook Mount LeConte, while the front balcony and porch overlook Gatlinburg. Inside, the lodge has a game room upstairs that features a foosball table and two-person arcade table and flat-panel TV. The other game room is located downstairs and has a pool table, arcade games, and air hockey table. Pull up a seat to the wet bar that comes stocked with drinks and snacks. The pub-style table is an ideal place for a game of cards. After a fun filled day exploring the Smokies and socializing with your guests, settle back on the sofa and watch a movie or the big game on the 55” HDTV. Another great feature of Great Smoky Lodge is the free access to the nearby community pool in the summer.
Gather souvenirs throughout your trip along the popular Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Loop where over 100 artists and craftsmen showcase their talent. This eight mile loop can be reached using the Yellow Trolley from downtown Gatlinburg. Gatlinburg is also home to popular museums such as Hollywood Star Cars, Salt & Pepper Shaker, Gatlinburg Pinball Museum, and World of Illusions museum.
Due to its natural beauty, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited National Park in the U.S. By staying at the Great Smoky Lodge, you have close access to all the hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails. Although the cabin has a view of Mount LeConte, you also have the opportunity to hike up the mountain! Many of the trails go by waterfalls and historic sites. Pigeon Forge is a neighboring town and has popular attractions such as Dollywood, dinner theaters, Titanic Museums, and outlet stores.
Ober Gatlinburg is one of the top rated ski, snowboarding, and snow tubing areas in TN. Ride the aerial tramway for magnificent views of the mountains. They also have a rock wall, alpine slide, chairlift, and ice skating. Between the live concerts, dinner shows, and seasonal festivals there is plenty to explore in Gatlinburg year-round.

Although it was a little difficult to locate,(maybe due to GPS) the only thing I didn’t like was our stay wasn’t long enough. From the moment we walked in; this cabin is SIMPLY AMAZING!!! What you see in the picture is EXACTLY what you get!!!! This place is AWESOME and we can’t wait to come back!!!!
