Dandridge, TN, is a charming historic town located at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. With its rich history and natural beauty, there are plenty of things to do and see in Dandridge. One of the top attractions in the area is the Douglas Lake, a beautiful lake that offers a variety of outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. Visitors can also rent a boat and explore the lake or take a guided fishing tour to catch some of the area's biggest fish.
Another popular attraction in Dandridge is the Bush's Visitor Center, where visitors can learn about the history of the famous Bush's Beans company. The center features exhibits on the company's history, a replica of the original general store where the beans were first sold, and a gift shop with a wide range of Bush's Beans merchandise. We loved our stay at 7th heaven! It was decorated in all the fall colors and made you feel at home. We met the owner while we were there and He was so nice and friendly. We had a good yard for our dogs .Lots of room for a big family. We will definitely be going back. If you like fishing you can walk down the yard and fish all you want. Excellent rental property for enjoying Douglas lake and close enough to Smoky Mountain activities when you need a break. Family of six had plenty of comfort, sleeping and privacy as well as pet friendly for our two dogs. Great to be able to walk to the lake, a place to keep your boat in covered slip and an ice machine for your coolers. Only downfall was no WIFI but who needs it when you are there to unplug.
