Sleeping arrangements: The master suite has views of the waterfall, fireplace, king-size bed, and a private balcony. There is an HD Smart TV which you can watch before drifting to sleep. The en-suite bathroom has dual sinks and a shower. Relax in the garden tub with tree top views. There are a total of six bedrooms and seven bathrooms - perfectly arranged for a large family who is looking to enjoy a mountain vacation. The downstairs bedroom has a king-size bed and views of the suite. Two of the bedrooms have a queen-size bed and raw-timber furnishings. Upstairs is another bedroom with a bear-theme bedroom and bathroom. The last bedroom has a queen-bed, skylights, and an en-suite bathroom.
There is plenty of space to spread out inside the cabin. However, the decks add even more space to spread out. The decks run the entire length of the front and back of the vacation home! It comes furnished with a table and chairs, seating, gas grill, and even a stone fireplace! The covered deck extends towards McFalls Branch Falls that overlooks a creek. The noise of the gently-rambling creek is super relaxing. Another nice feature in the cabin is the number of bathrooms for added privacy and convenience. Two of the bathrooms have a walk-in shower while the others have a shower/tub combo. Fresh towels and bedding will be ready for your arrival!
Black Bear Lodge is located in Cosby, TN right at the edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Gatlinburg. Although the cabin is nestled in a serene hollow in the woods, it is close to downtown and the National Park. Take a thrilling zipline or ropes course tour, or try whitewater rafting. Nature lovers enjoy the hiking opportunities in the mountains amongst the diversity of trees and wildlife. Some of the trails even go by waterfalls!
For an authentic Gatlinburg shopping excursion, hop on the 8 mile Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Loop. Find yourself in old-world shops on brick-laid streets, modern galleries, quaint shops and mountain themed boutiques. Outdoor excursions are endless – Smoky Mountain hiking, rafting trips, fishing, backpacking or biking. If you want to up your outdoor game, gear up at the The Day Hiker or Noc Gatlinburg.
Nearby is Pigeon Forge, home to Dollywood theme park and the Titanic Museum. If you are planning to visit over the winter, get ready for the snow adventures ahead! Ober Gatlinburg is a skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing destination. The average season begins in early-December and goes through mid-March. There is also ice skating and a Cubbies Snow Zone.
