Inside is plenty of room for your group to relax. Large living room. Fully equipped gally type kitchen with stand up counter for serving, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, stove, toaster, dishes & utensils.
Bring your own water toys or rent them locally. Kayaking and canoeing day trip on the Saquatchie River offers a memorable experience. Day trip to NASHVILLE "MUSIC CITY" is 100 miles - the list of Nashville to-do’s is incredible.
Sleeping arrangement: Bedroom 1: 1 queen master with lakeview - upper level. Bedroom 2: 3 doubles - upper level. Bedroom 3: 1 king - main floor. Bedroom 2 works well for two family’s with kids - sleeps 6 (2 per bed).

The Roost has 3 bedrooms that can accommodate large groups up to 10. Your neighbor offers 620 miles of undeveloped shoreline, and is lined with terrific hiking, biking and horseback trail riding: Dale Hollow Lake!
Unique activities! Civil War buffs will enjoy The Borderlands Foundation Museum. Guests at Dale Hollow Cabins usually find time to visit the Highland Manor Winery (free tours and tastings). Historic Rugby, TN is a restored Victorian village (founded in 1880 - go back in time).
If you’re into relaxing and playing around the cabin, you can enjoy some fresh air and toss horseshoes. Evenings are a great time to bond around the firepit and listen to nature.
Since you book directly with me (Robert), I can give you information about the many Pickett County attraction. Want to spend an afternoon at an area beach? The Roost cabin is close to Obey River Campground’s sandy beach. Maybe your group likes to golf or go horseback riding. Like rummaging? The World's Longest Yard Sale is in Byrdstown, TN.
Spending some time on Dale Hollow Lake is a must. The Sunset Marina is nearby so you can dock your boat or maybe rent a pontoon or houseboat, cruise the shoreline and fish for world record smallmouth bass. Dale Hollow Lake was recently named #1 in the “Top Ten Best Houseboating Lakes in North America”. Find cafés, delis and restaurants by water!
