Cabin 409 is a great place to stay for a convenient and relaxing experience, a short drive away from many of the attractions that the Smoky Mountains and parts of Gatlinburg have to offer. Visitors who come to see us will find that they have access to a kitchen that includes a microwave, stove and oven, along with a coffee maker, refrigerator, and freezer. Hopefully, you have all or most of the major appliances that you like to use at home! In addition to this, the cabin has a comfortable and open living area, where visitors can kick back and relax as they watch a movie on the flat screen TV, doze in front of the gas fireplace, or spend time on their laptop or personal device using the cabin’s free WiFI.
Staying at this resort also involves a host of other amenities, and all visitors to this cabin have access to a swimming pool, wading pool, and hot tub, along with picnic areas and a playground, for the kids. Besides this, the porch at this vacation home is right beside a lovely stream, so you can experience a few glimpses of nature even while you are sipping your coffee in the morning.
This cabin sleeps a total of four people. There is one bathroom and one bedroom; the bedroom contains two queen beds.
One other great amenity to be found at this cabin is that visitors have access to a charcoal grill, where they can make burgers or other smoky meals. Along with the supplies in the kitchen, and the picnic tables, visitors should be able to cook and eat virtually anything and in whatever way they want while they are visiting this cabin.
The Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain areas are famous for their many attractions. Visitors who are interested in heading to Gatlinburg for the day should check out Ripley’s Aquarium; this watery zoo is great for kids and adults alike. Alternately, depending on when you come, you could also go to the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort, where you can go skiing, ice skating, and more!
If you are here at a different time of year, you could spend a hot summer afternoon enjoying the cool refuge of the woods in the Smoky Mountains. But you may want to come and visit the mountains any time of the year. With opportunities to go hiking, biking, and fishing, you will be able to pick your favorite way to get out in nature. Trails are of varying difficulty levels, and many lead to beautiful cascading waterfalls or pristine views of hazy mountains.
We have several recommendations of places to eat if you choose to go to Gatlinburg. Sea food lovers should definitely head to the Smoky Mountain Trout House. Whereas, those who prefer pizza can’t go wrong with Slice Pizza Bakery. Just like with attractions, there are so many options of food for you to try during your visit that you may have trouble choosing!

Just returned from a week in cottage 409. If you want cozy and comfortable with everything you need, you will love this cabin. Sitting on the balcony over the stream will soothe all your cares away. It is not uber modern but I love simplicity with a touch of home. The furniture is somewhat dated but this added to the charm. We were close to everything we loved. Many good eateries and near Greenbrier . My golden rule on reviewing something is "Would I do this again?" My answer is yes. Marianne P
Absolutely love this place! Will definitely be coming back, even considering doing a yearly trip here! Beautiful location near a creek, within walking distance of Gatlinburg. We walked to everything this way so we didn't have to pay 20 to park for a few hours. Felicia Aytes
Clean, decent sized room. Table and chairs outside the door so you could sit and listen to the roaring stream. Fire pits and grills outside along the water. Easy to walk into town and avoid the traffic which there was a LOT of everyday. We were towing a trailer and they had a separate area for us to park it. We will stay again if we find ourselves in Gatlinburg in the future. JoAnn S
We loved staying 6 nights at Carr's Cottages. Very reasonably priced and great personal service and attentive here. Highly Recommended ~~ Traveled from Texas & stayed here July 17 to July 23, 2021. Cheers
This was our first time at Carr's and it was a Beautiful place. Our accommodations were roomy and clean. We rented the 3 bedroom cottage house on the other end of the property. It was away from the office, pool, and other facilities. It was very peaceful near the stream and hearing the stream at night was so awesome. The house was huge. Tim R
